Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitoring Technician to provide continuous cardiac rhythm surveillance for patients in general care areas and the Emergency Department requiring telemetry monitoring.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to identify, quantify, and communicate electrocardiographic patterns and dysrhythmias.

Responsibilities
  • Provide continuous cardiac rhythm surveillance for patients in general care areas and the Emergency Department
  • Identify, quantify, and communicate electrocardiographic patterns and dysrhythmias
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must complete Basic Rhythm Interpretation Course and pass associated exam with a score of 95%, or higher, within 90 days of hire
  • Exemplary communication, telephone etiquette, and customer service skills
  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced work environment
