The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in support of the DoD. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to design and develop tactical communication systems that meet the needs of our customers.

Your technical expertise will be vital in evaluating and modernizing tactical networks. You will work closely with our team to translate real-world needs into technical specifications, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.

As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will have the chance to make a real impact in national security. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering customer-focused engineering solutions.

Your Responsibilities
  • Perform systems engineering processes, procedures, and best practices
  • Develop equipment and network configurations and identify and propose solutions to technology gaps
  • Coordinate technology insertion efforts and support technology insertion testing efforts
  • Knowledge of tactical and strategic military communications networks, architecture, protocols, security, network management, and physics underlying these systems
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with Army leadership, programs, working groups, non-technical audiences, logistics personnel, and peers to ensure interoperability with the Increment 1 Program of Record baseline
  • Ability to support technical tasks in the integration of Data, Voice, Video, and Telephony in the WIN-T INC1 Networks, including engineering and technical documentation, development of technical requirements, specifications, plans and reports, software and hardware engineering, test and evaluation, and quality engineering
  • Ability to understand military doctrine and how tactical network capabilities can be layered on top of that doctrine
  • Ability to identify system architectures in support of Operational Needs Statements (ONS) that are compatible with the current tactical communication systems
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Information Technology, or Science, or 6+ years of experience with systems engineering in lieu of a degree
