We are seeking a detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at Homewood Suites Manchester. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and providing exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities- Reconcile all hotel cashier transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Review and compile management reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Provide exceptional guest service, including check-in, check-out, and reservations.
- Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports, including the Daily Operating Report and Discount Programs.
- Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
- Guest Service Experience preferred.
- Computer knowledge/skills required.
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Sedentary work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Late/Overnight shift.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
