Meat Cutter Job Description

At Golden Corral, we're seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Meat Cutter, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and quantity of our meat products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut meat according to product specifications and time standards.
  • Implement and follow the buffet production system to maintain quality and shelf life compliance.
  • Rotate cut and boxed meat to ensure freshness.
  • Stock and arrange the Meat Cooler in accordance with approved food safety guidelines.
Cleanliness:
  • Sanitize all surfaces between production of chicken and any other meat to eliminate cross-contamination.
  • Recognize and address meat that is sticky, slick, or smells bad.
  • Clean and sanitize the meat room according to cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
  • Comply with local health department laws.
Operational Excellence:
  • Use administration forms to maintain an inventory of all meat products and determine production levels.
  • Notify the Manager of any discrepancies in product or equipment.
  • Perform opening and closing administrative procedures.
  • Maintain equipment according to the Equipment Maintenance manual.
  • Complete duty roster tasks.
