The Role

We are seeking an experienced Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations at South Port Square in Port Charlotte, Florida. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and services for our residents, while also driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Director in maintaining licensure and certification of the Community
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Conduct health center physical inspections and perform evaluations for state board of health
  • Ensure corporate compliance and HIPAA directives are implemented and monitored
  • Supervise assigned department directors and attend department director meetings
  • Meet with residents to solve problems and concerns, and assist in determining when a higher level of care is needed
  • Assist in developing budget, prepare monthly financial analysis and cash flows, and approve purchase orders
  • Assist Director of Operations Management, Executive Director, and Marketing Director with occupancy development
  • Participate in Community activities and field-related programs
  • Conduct special projects as assigned by the Executive Director
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, healthcare, hotel/restaurant management, or a closely related field
  • Minimum of two to five years of management experience in a life plan community with an active nursing home administrator license in the state of Florida
