Overview:

The Medical Technologist performs and interprets analysis on patient specimens through the use of complex laboratory techniques. This role provides medical staff with information to aid in patient diagnosis, ensuring accurate and timely results.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Laboratory Technician: Associate's degree in a major acceptable to a certification agency for MLT, and MLT ASCP or equivalent certification
  • Medical Technologist I: Associate degree with MLT certification and 3 years of clinical experience, or approved military training (if applicable)
  • Medical Technologist II: Bachelor's degree, and MT or MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification required
