About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor of Chinese Language and Culture or Assistant Professor of Chinese Studies to join our team at St. Olaf College. The successful candidate will teach one Chinese language course in the spring semester.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a field of Chinese linguistics, second language acquisition, or education;
  • Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese;
  • 2+ years of college-level Chinese language instruction experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Chinese linguistics, second language acquisition, or Education;
  • 3+ years of experience in teaching/higher education institution.
