Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $42,000-$47,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Leave of Absence Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end leave processes, determining leave eligibility and type, processing leave applications and forms, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage leave application process, including approval, rejection, and cancellation
  • Determine leave eligibility and type based on organizational policies and laws
  • Process leave applications and forms, establish claims, and ensure completion with third-party vendors
  • Codify documentation in accordance with internal workflow processes and procedures

You will also be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient submission of Worker's Compensation, Disability, Paid Family Leave forms to insurance carriers. Additionally, you will assist employees through the leave of absence process, explain all leave policies and procedures, and conduct necessary follow-up with employees regarding leave status, updates, and return-to-work dates.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or an equivalent field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Human Resources
  • Thorough understanding of company policies and labor laws, including ADA, Workers' Compensation, FMLA, and PFLA
