About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team at Jobot. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects in the engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed engineering plans, designs, and layouts for various civil projects using Civil 3D software.
  • Lead site development projects, including planning, designing, and overseeing construction.
  • Conduct research to determine project requirements and standards.
  • Provide cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor to determine project feasibility.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
  • Evaluate potential project sites for suitability and prepare site development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
  • Perform risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
  • Continually update knowledge and skills to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site development.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D or similar engineering design software.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • Ability to conduct complex civil engineering research and analysis, and present findings clearly and concisely.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
