Position Overview
You will engage closely with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the development and enhancement of strategic Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) initiatives, including fielding and sustainment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve providing expert guidance and insights to the JSF Program leadership on the viability of significant IT decisions and investments, ensuring ongoing support for strategic planning.
You will assist the leadership team in documenting, presenting, and justifying IT budgets and specific capital planning initiatives to various military branches.
As a representative, you will participate in Department of Defense (DoD) and inter-agency panels and working groups focused on evaluating technologies and standards relevant to IT resources and operations.
Requirements
To qualify, candidates must be U.S. citizens and deemed suitable for federal employment. Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory. New hires within the Department of the Navy must successfully complete the E-Verify employment verification process.
It is essential to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to commencing duties. Failure to secure the required clearance may lead to withdrawal of a job offer or termination.
This position falls under the Cyberspace Workforce category, specifically designated as an IT Program Manager at a basic proficiency level. The incumbent must achieve and uphold qualifications in accordance with DoD Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
Qualifications
Your resume should demonstrate at least one year of experience in information technology within federal service or the private/public sector, showcasing the following competencies:

- Leading IT system development projects to ensure effective organizational network environments.
- Directing technical analyses to assess performance enhancements against resource constraints.
- Briefing leadership on IT program specifics, including requirements and operational strategies.
