Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer

ProMedica is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Flower Hospital in Sylvania, OH. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing cardiac imaging and non-invasive cardiology procedures with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiac sonographic imaging and other non-invasive cardiology procedures as assigned.
  • Interact with cardiologists and physicians to ensure seamless completion of procedures.
  • Conduct cardiac stress testing, holter monitors, and event monitors with expertise.
  • Perform outpatient EKGs and take call for echoes and TEEs as needed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other technologists, students, and hospital staff.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in cardiovascular technology with a focus in cardiac imaging or 5 years' experience in echocardiology.
  • Registered as a diagnostic sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and maintain active registry status.
  • CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in cardiovascular technology with a focus in cardiac imaging.
  • Cardiac Sonography, Stress Testing, Holter Monitoring, and Knowledge of heart rhythms.
