Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring they are registered and informed about their visit.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, both in-person and via phone, to optimize patient flow.
  • Maintain regular communication with various stakeholders, including legal and insurance representatives, to facilitate patient care.
  • Handle patient payments, insurance verifications, and approvals with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide patients with essential information regarding their upcoming appointments during checkout.
  • Address inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and team members promptly.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with insurance verification processes.
  • Proficiency in using office equipment, including computers and telecommunication devices.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, bending, and reaching throughout the workday.
  • Manual dexterity for typing and operating office equipment.
  • Capability to lift up to 25 lbs safely.
  • Visual acuity for maintaining accurate records and recognizing individuals.
  • Effective communication skills to understand and convey information clearly.
