Job Summary

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled CT Technologist PRN to join our team in the Imaging Department. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans on patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics. You will work closely with our radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform all types of imaging procedures, including CT scans, using AdventHealth protocols and guidelines.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely and properly operate all equipment, including scanners, injectors, and monitors.
  • Image Review: Review all images of all exams, repeating images as necessary for best possible results.
  • Computer System: Use the computer system for ordering, changing, and canceling exams according to protocol.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Education: AS or BS degree in Radiological Technology or related field.
  • Certifications: ARRT – R, ARRT - CT, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience: Prior CT experience on GE CT scanners and prior CT experience in a hospital setting.
