The Head Janitorial Supervisor will play a pivotal role in upholding the community's values and vision. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional service and organization, ensuring that residents' needs are met with the utmost satisfaction. The Supervisor will maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with residents, colleagues, and vendors, leveraging their expertise in facilities management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the quality control of janitorial staff, demonstrating strong knowledge and skills in housekeeping.
  • Implement standard cleaning protocols and procedures.
  • Utilize cleaning equipment effectively, including vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
  • Schedule, train, and supervise janitorial staff in best practices, showcasing strong leadership abilities.
  • Manage procurement of custodial supplies.
  • Administer the work order system efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inspections of community areas and report findings to the Facilities Manager.
  • Coordinate with the Lifestyle department to support community events.
  • Execute minor repairs and enhancements to the facility.
  • Prepare and maintain activity rooms and spaces for events and meetings.
  • Assist in relocating equipment and furniture as necessary.
  • Engage in community activities and events as required.
  • Ensure cleanliness of all common areas, including lobbies and restrooms.
  • Address any significant spills or cleaning emergencies promptly.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts.
  • Assist with ordering supplies necessary for facility upkeep.
  • Support the Facilities Manager and other team members as directed.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities Manager.
  • Maintain outdoor areas, ensuring they are clean and presentable.
  • Other duties as assigned.
