Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic full-time Dental Assistant to join our team at Janice K. Chan DDS, INC. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups for dental procedures.
  • Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and ease throughout the process.
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, maintaining strict infection control protocols and adhering to OSHA guidelines.
  • Record medical and dental histories, as well as vital signs, accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in achieving patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing excellent patient service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to established protocols and standards.

Ideal Requirements:

  • Current basic life support (CPR) certification.
  • Radiation Safety Certificate (X-ray license).
  • Proof of course completion in Infection Control for Dental.
  • Coronal polishing certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
