Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a Medical Assistant II, you will work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to provide patient care and support services in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical tasks and procedures as delegated by licensed practitioners
  • Assist with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Collect and process lab samples, perform EKGs, and other diagnostic tests
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent experience
  • Washington State Medical Assistant Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 6 months of healthcare experience and 6 months of medical assisting experience
