Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Stocker at Michaels Stores. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-organized store environment, and supporting the sales process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas
  • Support the sales process by assisting customers with product inquiries, answering questions, and making recommendations
  • Unload merchandise from trucks, stock shelves, and maintain store recovery standards to ensure a well-merchandised store
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging shopping experience
  • Assist with cash handling, including processing transactions and handling customer returns
  • Engage with customers on the benefits of our rewards program and private label credit cards
  • Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Interact with colleagues in a positive and respectful manner, promoting a collaborative team environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
