About the Opportunity

The Clinton Hill Community & Early Childhood Center is seeking a dedicated and caring Special Education Paraprofessional to support our students with diverse needs. **Job Summary:**

We are looking for an experienced and empathetic paraprofessional to provide individualized support to students with disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with classroom management, developing and implementing behavioral strategies, and promoting the social and emotional growth of our students.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Assist students with remaining seated and engaged during activities.
  • Provide redirection when necessary for students who are off-task.
  • Employ techniques to assist students who are overstimulated.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
