About the Role:As a Physical Therapist with BAYADA, you will be responsible for assessing and treating clients in their homes, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and educating clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements to assess client mobility, strength, and balance.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions.
- Continually assess and revise care plans, participating in multidisciplinary care planning as needed.
- Educate clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for independent living.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
- A current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Solid computer skills, with prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
