Job Overview
The American Honda Finance team is in search of a Senior Financial Analyst to enhance our Corporate Planning division. This role is pivotal in overseeing corporate financial planning and analysis, ensuring a robust understanding of the organizational structure.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Analyst, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Corporate Planning
- Management of G&A Budget Planning, including the formulation of key assumptions and forecasting methodologies.
- Systems Projects Planning
- Evaluation of project investments and budget distribution.
- Monthly Reporting
- Analysis of Budget vs Actual, Product Profitability, and Cost Per Reports.
- Assistance in the month-end closing process through variance analysis.
- System Support
- Regular and ad-hoc maintenance and enhancements to support budgeting events and meet customer requirements.
- Ad-Hoc Executive Support
- Conducting special studies, business cases, and assessments of business opportunities.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- 8+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
- Expertise in budgeting and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in financial accounting statistics.
- Advanced skills in MS Office Applications: MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Access, SharePoint.
- Experience with ERP and EPM Financial Applications (e.g., Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management, PeopleSoft).
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence/OLAP tools (e.g., Business Objects, SAS).
- Experience presenting to Executive Management.
Work Schedule
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring 1-2 days in the office.
