About the Role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Glen Echo, Maryland. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions to promote optimal health and function.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Educate and instruct clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities to promote independent living.
  • Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations to ensure high-quality care management.
Requirements
  • A current MD Physical Therapist license.
  • A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
  • Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
