Job Title: Speech Pathologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Springfield Clinic. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering comprehensive speech therapy modalities to patients with speech, voice, language, cognitive-communicative, and oral-pharyngeal swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to determine level of function and develop treatment plans
* Establish in-home treatment plans in coordination with physicians and other care team members
* Provide quality, personalized, evidence-based care and proven interventions of Speech Language Pathology
* Educate, collaborate with, and conference with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
* Supervise Speech Therapy students and other home health staff as appropriate
* Complete required documentation to complete patients' visits and episodes as required by federal, state, and payor guidelines

Requirements:

* Master's degree or greater in Speech Language Pathology
* Completion of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
* One year experience in hospital or Home Care Setting, preferred
* Reliable means of transportation, valid IL driver's license, and vehicle liability insurance required
* Current ASHA license
* AHA CPR certification required

Working Environment:

This job operates in a variety of settings, including professional office environments, patients' homes, and cars. You must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions. Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.

HIPAA Level: HIPAA1

This position is employed to provide services for White Star, a not-for-profit affiliate of Springfield Clinic.
