Pulmonary Critical Care Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Pulmonary Critical Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Palm Health Resources in Virginia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care and experience in managing critically ill patients in the ICU setting. As a hospital-based Advanced Practice Provider, you will be responsible for providing health care services to individuals, families, and/or groups in the hospital setting, independently and/or under the direction of the attending physician.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and prescribe/provide treatments/interventions
  • Manage acute and stable chronic illnesses, promote health, and provide disease prevention and management services
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities, engage in member-of-the-team activities, and use resources appropriately
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Pulmonary Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Acute care training and experience in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
