As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct patient care to patients with complex medical conditions, including cardiac and vascular patients. Your expertise will be essential in creating and implementing individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with cardiac and vascular conditions.
- Monitor and record patient conditions, utilizing computerized documentation systems to ensure accurate and timely communication.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Instruct and educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Coordinate patient discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care settings.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License.
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross).
- Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia course within 3 months of hire.
- PCCN, TNCC, and TCAR certifications preferred.
