Position Overview:

As the Chief Risk Officer at Gasoc, you will be instrumental in steering our organization towards maintaining a comprehensive risk management framework within the utility sector.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring operational excellence and protecting the organization's future by spearheading innovative strategies and initiatives aimed at effectively mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to articulate and refine the vision and direction of the Enterprise Risk Management Program, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Oversee the establishment and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management Program, providing leadership in the development of risk processes, standards, and mitigation strategies.
  • Encourage collaboration and drive organization-wide engagement in risk management by working closely with leaders at all levels to implement and uphold risk management protocols.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the organization's risk culture, including active participation in industry-related organizations and forums.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Over 10 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the utility sector. A solid understanding of risk management methodologies and maturity models is essential.
  • Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, capable of tailoring messages for diverse audiences, from team meetings to executive presentations.
Certifications:

Possession of a professional risk management certification/designation such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) is preferred.
