Job Summary

This is a full-time position for an MRI Technologist to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the 3T Siemens MRI scanner for research MRIs and clinical patients, conducting and maintaining clinical and research procedures, and working closely with research study groups to ensure success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the 3T Siemens MRI scanner for research MRIs and clinical patients
  • Conduct and maintain clinical and research procedures, including safety protocols
  • Work closely with research study groups to ensure success
  • Run scanner quality assurance testing
  • Perform MRI scanner troubleshooting
  • Assist in training research personnel, post-doctoral fellows, and faculty regarding use of the MRI

Requirements

  • Minimum education: a graduate of an ARRT approved Radiology and/or MR training program
  • ARRT (American Registry for Radiologist Technologist) registered technologist with advanced MRI Certification
  • Louisiana State Board for Radiologic Technologist License
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Minimum 4-years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferably with 2-years' experience in advanced/research MRI scanning
