Senior Machinist

At Saginaw Products Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Level Five Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machinery, ensuring high-quality production, and contributing to process improvements.

• Operate and maintain multiple machines, including Mills, Lathes, Boring Mills, and Grinding operations, with a high level of precision and accuracy.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and optimize production processes.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and procedures.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Machine shop courses or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently.

• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing and design concepts.
• Experience with 3D Surfacing in Master Cam and SolidWorks software.
• Ability to produce setup sheets, operation drawings, and limited dimensions sheets.
