Senior Machinist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Machinist to join our team at Saginaw Products Corporation. As a Senior Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machinery, including mills, lathes, and grinding operations. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured parts and collaborating with other teams to improve manufacturing processes.

• Operate and maintain complex machinery, including mills, lathes, and grinding operations
• Ensure the quality of manufactured parts
• Collaborate with other teams to improve manufacturing processes
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
• Train and mentor junior machinists

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Machine shop courses or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

The Senior Machinist will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The employee must be able to stand for long periods, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and climb or balance. The employee must also be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
