We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Addolorata Villa, a vibrant senior living community in Wheeling, Illinois. As an LPN/RN, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents, supervise and coordinate the activities of Nursing Assistants, and ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of Nursing Assistants to ensure a high level of quality care is maintained.
- Responsible for admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, ensuring a smooth transition and excellent care.
- Keep physician and/or other healthcare professionals informed of changes in resident conditions, ensuring timely and effective care.
- Supervise Nursing Assistants and may supervise other nurses, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education to stay up-to-date on the latest geriatric care practices and technologies.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- LPN license in Illinois.
- Recent clinical experience, education, and specialty skills specific to geriatrics.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must enjoy working with the senior population and be passionate about providing exceptional care.
