Valor opera más de 50 Clínicas Ambulatorias para Veteranos en los Estados Unidos como contratista del Departamento de Asuntos de Veteranos. Proporcionamos una gama completa de servicios médicos a los veteranos, adaptados a las necesidades específicas de los centros médicos locales.

Como Especialista en Soporte de Salud, serás responsable de proporcionar tratamientos médicos prescritos y servicios de atención personal a pacientes con enfermedades y lesiones que buscan atención en la clínica, según lo indicado por un médico o proveedor de nivel medio. Colaborarás con el equipo PACT (Proveedor de Atención Primaria, RN y Asistente Médico) y el equipo PACT ampliado, que incluye a la familia/cuidadores y servicios comunitarios involucrados en el desarrollo del plan de atención del paciente.

Responsabilidades Clave

  • Asistir activamente en la atención al paciente, exámenes físicos y pruebas auxiliares.
  • Programar citas en la clínica y gestionar las asignaciones correspondientes.
  • Atender llamadas telefónicas y transmitir mensajes de manera oportuna.
  • Imprimir, preparar y organizar la lista de registro de pacientes con la lista de medicamentos para el día siguiente.
  • Recoger muestras de laboratorio, incluyendo orina, sangre y esputo para pruebas.
  • Operar equipos de diagnóstico para realizar pruebas y tratamientos rutinarios.
  • Cumplir con los requisitos de cumplimiento de las normativas pertinentes.
  • Enfocarse en lograr excelentes resultados clínicos siguiendo las pautas establecidas.
  • Proporcionar un servicio al cliente excepcional a cada paciente, tanto en persona como por teléfono.
  • Participar en eventos de divulgación de la clínica para apoyar las iniciativas de inscripción.
  • Apoyar la inscripción y retención de pacientes en citas y visitas de seguimiento.
  • Adoptar y apoyar nuevas iniciativas, ya sean clínicas u operativas.

Requisitos:

  • Título o certificado de un programa acreditado según lo aprobado por el estado. Se prefiere certificación y experiencia en flebotomía.
  • Experiencia mínima de dos años como Especialista en Soporte de Salud en un entorno de atención primaria o ambulatoria; se prefiere experiencia en el sector de salud gubernamental.
  • Mantener un buen estado a través de la Administración de Salud de Veteranos (VA). Puede ser necesaria la acreditación según el contrato individual de VA.
  • Cumplir con todos los requisitos para una licencia válida y sin restricciones en el estado de empleo deseado.
  • Certificación actual en Soporte Vital Básico y en ACLS según lo especificado por el contrato individual.
  • Dominio del inglés, tanto escrito como hablado.
  • Fuertes habilidades informáticas, incluyendo experiencia en EMR.
  • Actitud enérgica y optimista, con habilidades excepcionales en servicio al cliente y comunicación.
