Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients with various health conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, and obesity.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Conduct thorough nutrition assessments and screenings to identify patients' nutritional needs and develop targeted interventions.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits, meal planning, and nutrition-related topics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in clinical nutrition to ensure the highest quality care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in clinical nutrition or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.
  • Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) certification in Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure.
