Job Overview
Hillenbrand is seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist to provide technical support to customers. This role involves commissioning, installing, and testing of products/equipment, including identifying and correcting complex problems associated with start-up. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join Hillenbrand's team as an Electrical Systems Specialist. You will work closely with our Field Service team, providing technical advice and support to customers. Your expertise in electrical systems and machine control troubleshooting will be invaluable in resolving customer issues and ensuring smooth product operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, including addressing electrical, operational, and programming issues.
  • Travel up to 60% of the time to assist in new machine start-up and customer training.
  • Assist in creating electrical wiring diagram packages and downloading programs.
  • Test machine operation to ensure it meets order specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Panel Builder Vendor and Production team on machine wiring requirements.

Requirements
  • A technical degree or associate degree in machine control related program or two years of experience with machine controls.
  • Proficiency in PLC, HMI programming, and communications.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Allen Bradley, Siemens, and SolidWorks Electrical.

Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of approximately $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and a sign-on bonus.
