About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Copeland in Sidney, Ohio. This is a full-time position working a 2nd shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Specialist will provide technical support on quality and manufacturing-related questions, troubleshoot and repair gauges, maintain and update calibration records, create and revise quality documentation, assist with nonconforming product disposition, and participate in internal audits to ensure conformance to quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide shop floor technical support for quality and manufacturing inquiries
  2. Troubleshoot and repair gauges, ensuring they are functioning properly and up to date on calibration
  3. Maintain and update calibration records
  4. Create and revise quality documentation, including OMSs, gauge instructions, work instructions, etc.
  5. Assist with nonconforming product disposition
  6. Participate in internal audits to ensure conformance to quality standards
Requirements
  • Experience in quality systems
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledgeable in multiple gauging techniques and aspects
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teamcenter
  • Working knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with peers, managers, and hourly workforce
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or three (3+) years of relevant experience
  • ASQ Certification
  • CMM Programming and troubleshooting (PCDMIS software)
