Job Summary

Fred Finch Youth & Family Services is a dynamic organization that provides culturally responsive services to cultivate mental and physical resilience and wellness. We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, trauma-informed therapeutic services and care coordination to at-risk youth and young adults experiencing mental health symptoms and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized services under the supervision of a licensed clinician in residential and community locations.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapy and support to participants.
  • Collaborate with community resources and agencies to ensure seamless transitions and ongoing support.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including at-risk youth and young adults.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis management, and individual/family/group behavioral treatment methods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Experience working with program target populations, including intellectually disabled, homeless, teens, or young adults.
  • Knowledge of recovery-model orientation, public mental health and child welfare systems, and/or trauma-informed interventions.

  • Competitive salary range: $24.81 - $31.66 per hour.
