">Job Summary
">We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technician to join our team on a full-time night shift basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.
">Responsibilities
">The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of sterile techniques, instrumentation, equipment, and sterile field setup. They will support physicians' surgical practices in various procedures and demonstrate performance conducive to safe, efficient, and swift completion of surgeries.
">Key responsibilities include:
">- ">
- Ensuring accurate count of sponges, needles, and instruments used in all procedures">
- Supporting physician's surgical practice in a variety of procedures">
- Demonstrating expert knowledge of sterile techniques, instrumentation, equipment, and sterile field setup">
- Participating in special needs planning for patients">
- Completing basic OR Tech competencies and departmental specific competencies">
Requirements
">To be considered for this role, you must have:
">- ">
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent">
- A graduate degree from an accredited Surgical Technology program or clinical-based program">
- Six (6) months experience in an operating room or ambulatory surgery unit">
- CPR certification">
- PREFERRED: Certified OR Tech, 1 year OR experience, CORT or CST">
Salary
">Competitive salary ranging between $55,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
