Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is a leader in the travel industry, and we're looking for skilled Diesel Mechanic Technicians to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.

About the Job

We're offering a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. This position involves troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components. You'll also be responsible for providing preventative maintenance services, assisting customers with roadside services, and working a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.

Responsibilities
  1. Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues with vehicle components
  2. Provide preventative maintenance services to ensure vehicles are running efficiently
  3. Assist customers with roadside services, including tire changes and fuel delivery
  4. Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night shifts
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • Able to lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters
  • Able to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation
