Retail Sales Associate

Location: Lehigh Store #131

Goodwill of Southwest Florida, located in Fort Myers, Florida, is dedicated to creating transformative opportunities for individuals facing challenges and disadvantages. The organization collaborates closely with the community to provide support in mission services, retail operations, donated goods, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Assisting patrons on the sales floor and at the checkout
  • Knowledge of all departments/categories to assist with customer inquiries
  • Receiving donations and overseeing the backdoor donation area
  • Performing additional tasks as directed by the supervisor
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail experience is advantageous
  • Competent in operating cash registers, adding machines, and similar equipment
  • Basic math skills and sound judgment
  • Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods may be necessary
  • Compliance with pricing guidelines
