Job Summary

Kaiva Tech, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Professional to join our team in Washington DC.

Clearance Requirements

Active Top-Secret Clearance is required for this position.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position with potential for hybrid/telework upon COR approval.

Job Overview

The Cybersecurity Professional will be responsible for initiating and conducting non-criminal personnel security background investigations in accordance with public laws and executive orders. This includes:

  • Conducting investigations in accordance with public laws and executive orders 10450, 12968, and Public Law, as well as the Federal Investigative Standards set forth by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and Director of National Intelligence (DNI).
  • Obtaining investigative information through databases such as eQIP, CVS, JPAS, DCII, Selective Service, FBI, INS, and other government records checks.
  • Initiating both applicants and employees in the eQIP system.
  • Evaluating eQIP and related forms in order to grant or deny interim security clearances or Facility Access.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant technical personnel security experience.
  • Extensive technical knowledge and experience initiating and conducting non-criminal personnel security background investigations.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in obtaining investigative information through databases.
  • Proficiency in initiating both applicants and employees in the eQIP system.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Education

A high school diploma is required.
