Job Summary

The Close Up Foundation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as an Operation Control Agent. This role is responsible for providing weekend office coverage for Close Up participants traveling to and from programs throughout the fiscal year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the transportation team, ensuring seamless execution of weekend operations.
  • Manage emergency transportation issues, rebooking canceled participants, and coordinating ground transportation arrangements.
  • Offer exceptional customer service via phone, addressing travel-related inquiries and emergencies.
  • Facilitate communication between departments and Close Up employees to ensure effective issue resolution.
Requirements
  • Education and/or Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in customer service, preferably in the airline or hospitality industry.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting weekly bus orders, spreadsheets, and email correspondence. Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers, Close Up managers, and coworkers.
  • Reasoning Ability: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
