As an Intelligence Trainer, your typical responsibilities will encompass the following:
Position Overview
GCI, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior Intelligence Trainer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality training programs focused on technical and intelligence subjects. This role includes developing lesson plans, facilitating training sessions, and assessing the effectiveness of training initiatives. The Intelligence Trainer will also provide mentorship to other technical trainers and ensure that the training team achieves its objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts advanced instruction for intelligence professionals on tradecraft and related topics.
- Creates and/or enhances intricate courseware and curricula tailored to meet client training requirements, defining course content and objectives.
- Serves as a Subject Matter Expert, mentoring members of the target community in the relevant discipline.
- Improves student competencies in specific intelligence disciplines relevant to the course.
- Evaluates student performance and provides recommendations for enhancement.
- Delivers complex training at client locations, as part of a mobile training team, or through virtual platforms.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of pertinent technologies and subject areas.
- May coach and offer guidance to less-experienced professionals.
- May assume leadership roles within a team or task.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations related to the subject area.
- Experience in classroom instruction and courseware development.
- Specific certifications or military education/training may be necessary, depending on the job assignment.
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.
Professional Experience
- 8-10 years of relevant experience.
