Position Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to engage with a leading organization in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of $41.00.
  • Automate existing manual processes to enhance efficiency, including the development of tools for test case automation.
  • Create and execute functional test scenarios based on user stories within Agile Sprints.
  • Collaborate with development and testing teams to understand requirements and implement automated testing solutions.
  • Review project specifications to ensure they are testable.
  • Document all test outcomes, including pass/fail results, and troubleshoot failures to identify root causes.
  • Work alongside feature engineers to replicate and resolve defects in the system.
  • Engage in root cause analysis for hardware quality issues and software defects.
  • Contribute to system design, documentation, and testing to deliver a top-tier infotainment system.
  • Provide time estimates for testing tasks during sprint planning.

Qualifications

  • Experience in QA Testing.
  • Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language, along with software development skills.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and TestRail.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
