The Judge Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a critical role in providing support and guidance to students with special needs, ensuring they reach their full potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Manage a caseload and provide direct supports for students with special needs, collaborating with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Leadership and Guidance: Provide critical guidance to Lead Teachers to ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations, as well as meeting the needs of students with special needs.
- Special Education Coordination: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations, develop processes for entering and exiting students into services, and design and execute the Response to Intervention (RTI) process for behavior and academics.
Qualifications:
- Required Experience: Valid Tennessee teaching license with a K-12 Sped Endorsement or proof of enrollment in a job-embedded Educator Preparation Program.
- Education: Conferred Bachelor's degree.
- Criminal Background Check: Pass a thorough background check.
