Assistant Coach

Job Summary:

Quincy School District is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Coach to join our team. As an Assistant Coach, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in training and preparing student-athletes for competitive basketball games.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Coach in developing and implementing game plans and strategies.
  • Work with student-athletes to improve their skills and knowledge of the game.
  • Help maintain a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Director.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must meet the age requirements of WIAA applicable to the position.
  • Hold a valid current First Aid/CPR certification card or be able to obtain.
  • Ability to perform all duties in accordance with applicable Board policies and district and legal requirements.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and possess great human relations and interpersonal skills.

Benefits:
This position does not qualify for health insurance or paid leave benefits. 1 hour of sick time earned every 40 hours worked.
