About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Oakland Village Apartments in Richmond, Virginia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.
">Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, cleaning carpets, and appliance repair
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, roofing, and carpentry issues
- Communicate effectively with residents and management regarding service requests and make-ready units
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must possess a valid driver's license, acceptable motor vehicle record, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. You must also have trade school or associate's degree in a related field and be able to exercise schedule flexibility to accomplish set goals.
