Credentialing Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credentialing Coordinator to join our team at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our credentialing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of provider information, including licensure, certifications, and malpractice insurance.
  • Process and verify credentialing documents, including CAQH attestations and provider location reviews.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to providers, payers, and internal stakeholders through timely and accurate communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve credentialing-related issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credentialing and data management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a related field, such as medical records or healthcare operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish a plus.
