Job Summary:
Household Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dog-Friendly Housekeeper/Laundress to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional housekeeping and laundry services for a lovely couple residing in a large 2-floor duplex apartment on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full, detailed housekeeping services for the apartment, including dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning of all surfaces.
- Care for fine fabrics and perform laundry duties for both principles.
- Cook simple dinners as needed and assist with meal planning.
- Assist with the care and well-being of the couple's 14-year-old dog, including providing patience and love.
- Drive to other residences as needed, requiring a current driver's license.
- Travel to other residences when required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a housekeeper or laundress.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to other residences as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $42 - $45/hour DOE.
- Health insurance.
- Vacation time.
Working Conditions:
The ideal candidate will be able to work Monday - Friday from 9am - 6pm, with occasional travel to other residences. The couple has multiple homes, but the Upper East Side is their main residence.
