Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

At Youth Villages, we are committed to helping troubled youth and families live successfully. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing intensive support and assistance to families until a strong formal and informal support network can be developed and built around the child and family.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-home therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, and specific therapies to address trauma and substance abuse, if needed.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to help families build support teams consisting of natural and formal supports.
  • Provide after-hours support to youth and families through on-call duties.
  • Attend weekly meetings for professional development to enhance clinical skills.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social services field.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families in a volunteer, internship, or paid position.
  • Strong writing skills and experience with electronic documentation.
  • Acceptable driving record.
