Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair electronic fire alarm systems and other related building system products at customer sites
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software, and operational product manuals
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills by consistently communicating with district staff and customers
  • Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation and help train or mentor others on the service team
Requirements
  • 10+ years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety systems, Access Control, and Paging systems
  • Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements
