We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitalist Medical Director to lead our hospitalist program at Lehigh Valley Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the hospitalist program, including staff supervision and development
- Develop and implement operational and quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical staff to ensure seamless integration of hospitalist services
- Manage program finances, including budgeting and revenue growth
- Recruit and retain top talent, including hospitalists and advanced practice providers
- Three years of experience as a hospitalist, with a strong track record of leadership and management
- Board certification in Internal or Family Medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong business acumen and ability to drive revenue growth
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology
