Role Responsibilities:

The NSS Cybersecurity Risk Management and Compliance Lead will possess the necessary authority to oversee, implement, and manage all contractor personnel and subcontractors engaged in support services. This role is accountable for the quality of all deliverables and for assessing the performance of the team.


Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Security Architecture and Design: Document modifications and propose future updates to architecture and design documents while staying informed on technological advancements. Develop processes for continuous monitoring of software and systems to ensure visibility and actionable insights. Review and analyze trends in technology as they relate to cybersecurity and prepare white papers as needed. Provide subject matter expertise in cybersecurity architecture and engineering principles.
  • NSS Security Engineering Support: Facilitate the analysis, documentation, and reporting of various security engineering processes related to national security systems. Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for internal and external processes. Review system designs and create Security Impact Analysis Reports.
  • NSS Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Support: Ensure adherence to all relevant procedures and guidance while conducting compliance activities. Manage the reporting of cybersecurity compliance events affecting NSS. Collaborate with DHS components to assess and evaluate cyber risks associated with NSS.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Security Clearance: Must hold an active TOP SECRET security clearance.
